The congress features a series of social events that are as engaging as they are enjoyable, offering attendees the chance to network and unwind in a relaxed setting while experiencing the local culture and hospitality.

Early career network social
This event will be an informal social for early career researchers attending the congress. We will meet in a local restaurant and you will have an opportunity to network and will hopefully make some new connections that you can build on throughout the remaining days of the congress. Plus, there will be some delicious food (including typical French crêpes and galettes) but please note all food and drink must be purchased at the attendees’ own expense. We look forward to seeing you there.

ISPAH Party – Paris by Boat Cruise
Join Us for an Unforgettable Evening at the ISPAH Congress Party 2024!
We are thrilled to announce the ISPAH Congress Party 2024, an evening dedicated to celebration, networking, and unforgettable memories.
The Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, Notre Dame de Paris, La Conciergerie, the Musée d’Orsay … These monuments, that contribute to the richness of Parisian heritage, are essential stops during any tourist visit. Exploring Paris by boat allows you to change your perspective and discover the historic heart of the capital from a different angle. ISPAH invites you to join us on one of the Bateaux Mouches boats for a beautiful dinner along the Seine.
We will board the boat at Pont d’Alma at 6:45pm for a 7:30pm departure. From there we will enjoy a 2-hour round trip cruise, taking in the beautiful sites of Paris. On board there will be a cocktail dinner, with wine and plenty of opportunities for networking, before a DJ and dancing to party the night away!
The event will finish at 11pm. However, we will be back in dock from 9:45pm, allowing delegates to head off earlier if desired.
Places are limited, so book early to avoid missing out.
Additional Tickets: Please feel free to add additional tickets to your basket for additional guests or as a gift to other delegates. To add more tickets, simply increase the number of social event tickets in your basket. Please ensure you bring a copy of your receipt to the Congress party to sign in your additional guests.
